Francis Marion Thompson
Passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at the age of 76. Born in Gering, Nebraska to Glen and Flora Thompson. Francis served in the US Navy for 20 years as an electronic technician . He loved bowling, boating, motorcycles, gardening and fishing. Survived by his lovely wife Saundra Spitzer, his three sons and their spouses, Darin & Linda Thompson of San Martin, Kirk & Melissa Thompson of Franklin, OH and Eric & Laura Thompson of Lodi. His grandchildren, Amber, Erynn, Logan, Dylan, Ryan, Matthew, Rachel and Spencer, his great grand children, Gavin, Amelia, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Sydney and Hunter.
Friends and family are invited to visit Wednesday, August 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lodi Funeral Home, 725 South Fairmont Avenue in Lodi. Graveside services will be held at Sacramento valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
