Emelia Haro (Gomez)
Mrs. Emelia Gomez Haro passed away on October 20, 2016, at the age of 50 in Sacramento, California. Mrs. Haro was born in Lodi, California on May 2, 1966. She has lived in Lodi all of her life. Emelia was an Office Manager in a Medical Office for many years. She was a Human Resources entrepreneur, and she was currently studying to become an immigration attorney. Emelia was very active at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, and she was involved in many Outreach Services in the community. She was always giving a helping hand to anyone in need. Emelia is survived by her spouse, Jose H. Haro; daughter, Rosalina H. (Juan) Morales; parents, Adan Gomez Maldonado and Lydia Yolanda Gomez; grandchildren, Juan Eduardo Morales-Haro and Leonardo Daniel Morales-Haro; siblings, Mariano (Eudivina) Gomez, Diana Gomez (Eleuterio “Lou” Gonzalez), and Marina Gomez; grandparents, Raymundo Salazar and Guadalupe Ayala de Salazar; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said on Tuesday, October 25, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 26, 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Committal will be private.
