Virginia Madge Douglass
Virginia Douglass, of Lodi, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 9, 2016 at the age of 94. Virginia was born on June 28, 1922 to Floyd Sipe and Fay Sipe (Hvall) in Scott County, Indiana. She worked at Kingens Meat Company for 10 years as well as many other miscellaneous jobs over the years. She was an active member of the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Lockeford for 45 years. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Dean Douglass, Parents: Floyd Sipe and Fay Sipe (Hvall), Brother: Robert Sipe, Daughter: Susan Douglass-Martin, Son-in-law: Wayne Olson and Great Great Grandson: Timmy Bishop. She is survived by her loving daughter: Judy Olson, Grandchildren: Christi Wright, Leafa Bishop, Kelly Nies, David Sturm, Dawn Henry, Veronica Charters and Liz Bond, 17 Great Grandchildren and
19 Great-Great Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Lockeford, 11011 E. Highway 12, Lockeford, on September 22, 2016. Reception to follow immediately after the service.
