Masako Morimoto, of Lodi, passed away on December 13, 2017, at the age of 98. Mrs. Morimoto was born in El Monte, California on May 1, 1919. She was a housewife and retired. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting, knitting and going to Jackson Rancheria. She was very active in the Lodi Buddhist Church, particularly the Shinukai and the Fujinkai. She is survived by her 4 daughters, 2 brothers, and 1sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Minoru Morimoto; son, Keiso Morimoto; brother, Isamu Sakahara, and brother, Hideo Sakahara. Visitation will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21 and Friday, December 22, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lodi Buddhist Church on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. Committal will be private.
