Janie Lou Ross (Severson)
Janie Lou Ross passed away on November 24, 2017 in her home surrounded by her children and the people who loved her. Janie was born on June 7th, 1947 in Lodi, CA. She was the only daughter to Clarence and Luella Severson. She is survived by her mother Luella, her brother Charles Severson, (wife, Lisa Severson) and her children Will Ross (wife, Bong-Hee), Sarah Ross-Elizalde and her grandsons, Christopher Elizalde and Mason Ross.
She was married to Dr. Philip Ross for 34 years. Her devoted and gentle husband preceded her in death just 6 days earlier on Nov 18th this year. Janie met her husband while working for Wang Laboratories, when he chose to computerize his private medical practice in Vacaville.
After they married, Dr. Ross moved his practice to Lodi and Janie worked as his office manager and confidante.
She was a member of the Church of God 7th Day, and in her healthier years was active in the Lodi Symphony and involved with the Lodi Seroptismist Club.
She had a contagious laugh, enjoyed gardening, interacting with her grandchildren, and playing with her beloved dog Barron. She will be very much missed by all those who knew and loved her.
